The red moon shines brightly over a cemetery in the furthermost reaches of Overlord Moonedge's castle dominion...
The ground begins to stir, but that should have been an every day occurrence... seeing that the God of Death is always summoning the fallen souls of many to fight for his mad crusade. Yet this one fateful, or perhaps dreadful night... A powerful aura begins to boil up from the soil and a sinister glow of pure red bursts from the within. A voice, filled with rage and contempt, rumbles from ground... "My slumber... is over..." Suddenly a mound begins to form and take shape... with the soon results of the said mound rumbling and breaking with a hellish aura! The many tombstones and stone heads are suddenly blasted aside from the no longer existing mound... There floating on air as if at home and in comfort... A demon lord floating in the air, bathing in the red moon's brilliant light, his body emitting a reddish glow to match and show his power... "What has been transpiring while I slept? The souls seem to have crossed over and back... yet I sense something amiss..." The figure floated awhile longer to bathe in the Red Moon's aura, filling him with long forgotten strength due to his sleep. All who bore witness to this sight could only see the frightful glow of his aura... As well the awful smile on his lips... "Beware trespassers... The God of the Eternal Sleep has awaken!" |
